Gradska opstina Palilula

Environmental protection is the basis for future development and sustainable growth of the cross-border region of Bulgaria and Serbia, so through the project “Joint Initiatives for Nature Protection through Improving Air, Land and Water Quality in the Cross-Border Region”, Pirdop Municipality in Bulgaria and Palilula Nis , in addition to exchanging experiences, round tables and trainings, prepared a joint study and procured a vehicle for public hygiene (Pirdop), equipment for maintenance of green public areas and three off-road vehicles for monitoring and precaution in the environment. The total budget of the project amounted to 303,494.74 euros, of which 284,758.21 euros was a donation from the European Union, while 18,736.53 euros was the participation of project partners in the project.
