Gradska opstina Palilula

Palilula Municipality, Nis in partnership with the Municipality of Pirdop from the Republic of Bulgaria is implementing the project “Joint initiatives for nature protection through improvement of the quality of air, soil and water in the cross-border region”

“Joint initiatives for nature protection through the improvement of air, soil and water quality in the cross-border region”, which is co-financed within the EU Intereg IPA Cross-border Cooperation Program Bulgaria – Serbia. One of the activities on the project is the preparation and implementation of joint round tables and workshops on environmental protection in the cross-border region.

In the presence of a delegation from the partner Municipality of Pirdop in the Republic of Bulgaria, project teams of two municipalities, representatives of Palilula-Municipal Council and JKP Mediana members, a round table on “Natural Resources Management” was held on February 25 at the Tami Residence Hotel in Nis.
The participants were greeted by Bratislav Vuckovic, president of the Municipality of Palilula and Angel Gerov, the Mayor of the Municipality of Pirdop.
On this occasion, the equipment provided for the needs of this program in the Palilula Municipality was presented.
