    VISITING THE LAND ARMY MUSEUM EXHIBITION SETTING AND MEMORIAL ROOM

    The delegation of Palilula Municipality , headed by the president of the Municipality, Aleksandar Ždrale, and Adriana Anastasov, President of the Municipal Assembly, members of the Municipal Council, Municipal councilors and employees of this Municipal administration, visited in the presence of Lieutenant General Milosav Simović, the Museum and Memorial Room of the Land Army.

    This unique Museum was opened on February 26, 2018, in the presence of the Ministeer of Defense Aleksandar Vulin, Chief of General Staff – General Ljubisa Dikovic, Bishop of Nis. Arsenije, Head of the Nisava District Dragana Sotirovski, President of the Assembly of the City of Rade Rajkovic and other officials.

    The Memorial room consists of 29 titles and units, in which 16,000 names were mentioned that were killed from the Serbian-Turkish wars, until NATO aggression and those killed in the Land Security Zone. The memorial also includes the names of the victims in the Toplica uprising, who were killed in the RTS building, the names of the abducted and killed in Kosovo and Metohija after the arrival of KFOR. A special place in the Memorial Room has photos of dead soldiers from Kosare and Paštrik. In the Memorial Room, more than 11,000 photos, 47 uniforms from different periods, as well as more than 300 pieces of weapons and equipment were also exhibited. In the Land Army Museum, organized groups come to feel the love that we cultivate towards our army, state and history, General Simovic pointed out.
