Gradska opstina Palilula

Palilula City President Aleksandar Zdrale hosted a reception for Commander of the Third Army Brigade, Brigadier General Sladjan Stamenkovic. On this occasion, on the premises of the Municipality, they discussed the past cooperation and the possibilities of improving cooperation in the territory of the Palilula municipality. The Commander of the Third Brigade handed over to the Mayor a monograph on this unit of the Army, which continues the traditions of the Second Infantry Regiment “Knjaz Mihailo”, better known as the “Iron Regiment” and a tank -model.

This event was attended by Lt. Col. Markota Eduard and Major Dejan Lukic. The Third Army Ground Brigade is intended to carry out the missions and tasks of the Serbian Armed Forces through developing and improving operational capabilities and achieving the required availability of forces to conduct operations and assist civilian authorities in natural disasters, technical and technological disasters, and other disasters. The Third Brigade Day is celebrated on October 7th. Serbia’s Third Army Brigade, commanded by Lieutenant General Milosav Simovic, is the Third Army Ground Brigade.
