Gradska opstina Palilula

In the framework of regular cooperation with the institutions and utility companies of the City of Niš, a meeting was held with the management of JKP Mediana in the Municipality of Palilula on February 6th.
Aleksandar Ždrale, the President of Palilula Municipality, said after the meeting that this conversation was aimed at improving the quality of life of citizens of Palilula, improving cooperation with JKP Mediana and determining priorities in providing Municipal services in the territory of the Municipality in 2018, which has more than 80,000 inhabitants .

Dragoslav Pavlović v.d. director of JKP “Mediana”, pointed out that planning and cooperation with the Municipalities of the City of Niš gives better results in the realization of entrusted activities to this utility company. Cooperation with the Municipality of Palilula is regular, and therefore the effects of maintenance of the communal order are visible. At the meeting was emphasized the need for permanent or periodic maintenance of the Memorial Complex of the Park “Bubanj” and the Old Cemetery “Gorica”. An agreement is reached that the central streets in the municipality have a first priority in maintenance during the year and not only during the winter period.

Garbage collection in the rural area of the Municipality of Palilula, which includes fifteen villages, is also successfully accomplished. This year, several actions and campaigns will be organized in cooperation with citizens and civil society organizations in order to protect the environment, remove wild landfills and regulate parkland and interstate space. Marija Brajdic, Head of Municipal Administration, Nikola Bozic, Deputy President and Ivica Stojanovic, a member of the Municipal Council of Palilula, also took part during the meeting with Mediana representatives.
