RELOCATION OF THE RAILWAY FROM THE CENTER OF NIŠ SHOULD START IN JUNE

ИЗМЕШТАЊЕ ПРУГЕ ИЗ ЦЕНТРА НИША ТРЕБАЛО БИ ДА ПОЧНЕ У ЈУНУ

The relocation of the railway from the center of Nis should start in June, announced the Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Tomislav Momirović during his recent visit to Nis. He says that they are also working on project documentation for the construction of a high-speed railway from Nis to Belgrade.

Citizens have been waiting for more than two decades for the railway to be moved from the center of Nis. The Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, Tomislav Momirović, points out that the works will start in June, when he expects the works on the Niš-Dimitrovgrad railway to start.

The Minister reminded that the works on the railway from Nis to Brestovac have started and that they are working on the preparation of documentation for the construction of a high-speed railway from Nis to Belgrade.

It should be reminded that the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, during his visit to Niš in December, said that he expected that the works on relocating the railway and bypass around Niš would be completed by 2024, and the high-speed railway to Belgrade by 2026.
