    PRESCHOOL CLASS IN GABROVAC PRIMARY SCHOOL

    ПРЕДШКОЛСКО ОДЕЉЕЊЕ У ОСНОВНОЈ ШКОЛИ У ГАБРОВЦУ

    According to the tradition, Palilula Municipal management – Niš, at the beginning of the new school year, it is organized a tour of primary schools that work on the territory of the municipality and a meeting with their principals. On this occasion, members of the Municipal Council, Jovica Ralić and Predrag Petrović, visited the elementary school “Branko Radičević” in Gabrovac. In the presence of the school principal Glorija Radojčić, the Municipal councilors handed over school supplies to the students who went to the first grade and attended the opening of the preschool class, which currently has fourteen students.

    Just on the Day of Serbian Unity, Freedom and the National Flag, the preschool department was ceremoniously opened. In the elementary school “Branko Radičević” in Gabrovac, they are very proud of their former teacher Luka Janićijević, who was the Thessaloniki front WW1, and was credited with founding the school. According to the words of the director Radojčić, the village of Gabrovac has about 600 children, but it is the smallest school in the municipality of Palilula in terms of the number of students.
