Primary School “Sreten Mladenović Mika”, located on the territory of Palilula Municipality, City of Nis, within the “Children’s Week”, celebrated the School Day. On this occasion, the delegation of Palilula Municipality visited the students and teachers of the school. Ivica Stojanovic, a member of the Municipal Council of Palilula, congratulated this anniversary to teachers and students.
“I want to emphasize on this occasion, the good cooperation of our Municipal leadership with the management of the school, and also I want to wish you prosperity and success in future work, said Stojanovic. Anniversaries are also a reason to give recognition to individuals for the results achieved in education and lunar activities in the past year and draw the public’s attention to their success. The Municipality of Palilula, in its Municipal official calendar, promotes the most successful students from your school. We are here every year to welcome the departure of the champions.
School “Sreten Mladenović-Mika” is named after the participant of the national liberation struggle and the national hero of Yugoslavia Sreten Mladenović. The school was founded in 1982, it has 3 specialized classrooms, 8 cabinets, a gym, sports fields and other accompanying facilities. There are about 380 pupils attending. The foreign languages taught at the school are English and Italian.
