“When we say health, we mostly mean physical, physical health. We neglect its essential part – the mental. Just as the body needs to be nourished, developed, rested, nurtured, so the psyche needs to be nourished, developed, healed. Mental health is a state of well-being in which a person realizes or uses his abilities and potentials, can cope with the stressors of everyday life, works productively and contributes to society, said in her presentation Dr. Jovana Zivic, psychiatrist
The protection and preservation of mental health include all measures and activities aimed at establishing and maintaining mental well-being. These measures are related to the promotion and improvement of mental health, as well as prevention, which includes early detection, treatment and rehabilitation of behavioral disorders and soul / mental disorders.
