The Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities – Union of Towns and Municipalities of Serbia (SCTM) presented the “Manual for Gender Analysis in the Process of Gender Responsible Budgeting for Local Self-Governments”. The manual is intended for all employees in local self-governments, and especially for decision-makers (mayors, council members and heads of departments); employees in the budget and finance departments; employees in institutions and local self-government, i.e. departments, institutions, bodies, including direct and indirect budget users.

The aim of this handbook is to provide practical support to all those working on budgets in local governments. The handbook provides information on steps and procedures in conducting gender analysis, which is at the core of gender-responsive budgeting. The development of the manual was supported by the Program “Support to Local Governments in Serbia on the Road to EU Accession: Improving Quality of Services, Stakeholder Dialogue and Efficiency of Local Administration” funded by the Government of Sweden. partnership with the Swedish Association of Local and Regional Authorities (SALAR) (Dragan Vidojković)
