With the financial support of the Council of Europe and the European Union (about EUR 2 million), the Office of the Council of Europe in Serbia, in cooperation with the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government and the SCTM, is implementing the project “Human Resource Management in Local Self-Government”.
The purpose of the project is to improve the human resources management function in local self-governments in accordance with the recently adopted Law on employees in autonomous provinces and local self-government units, as well as support the establishment of a system of professional development of local officials in local self-government units through support to the implementation of the Strategy for Professional Development of Employees in Local Authorities self-government. On this occasion, training was held on 6, 7, and 9 November in Nis, on the topic “Implementation of the Law on General Administrative Procedure” and “Preparation and implementation of projects”.
The training was conducted by the Center for Development of Jablanica and Pcinj District, for the officials of the Secretariat of the City Administration Niš, KLER, and five City Municipalities. From the Municipality of Palilula, the training program was attented by Milan Nikolic, Jelena Stojanovic and Dragan Stoiljkovic. This training of professional development of local officials will ensure the continuous development of thecapacities, expertise and knowledge.
