The Mayor of Nis, Dragana Sotirovski, called on all fellow citizens to rationally use water in the days of extremely high temperatures, and especially appealed to the residents of Ledena stena, Min settlement and the old part of Pasi Poljana to show solidarity so that their neighbors can also have drinking water.

At the meeting held with the management of “Naisus” and the representatives of Pasi Poljana, it was agreed that the communal police, inspection and collectors of that public-utility company would visit the terrain by Friday and warn the citizens to use water rationally. In case this measure does not contribute to the normalization of water supply in shorter intervals, restrictions will be introduced. The long-term solution to this problem is an investment worth half a billion dinars in the expansion of the pipeline and the construction of the reservoir.
