    LET THERE BE NO MORE WAR – 80 YEARS LATER

    ПОЧАСТ ЖРТВАМА СТРЕЉАНИМ НА БУБЊУ

    On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the anti-fascist uprising in Serbia, in the Memorial Park BUBANJ, Palilula, Nis, a manifestation “LET THERE BE NO MORE WAR” was held. The meeting was organized by the Association of Veterans of the People’s Liberation Wars of Serbia, and the Minister of Labor, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs, Prof. Dr. Darija Kisić Tepavčević, was also present. SUBNOR awarded its highest recognition to the former commander of the Pristina Corps, General Vladimir Lazarevic, the award was given to the commander of the Land Army, Lieutenant General Milisav Simovic, and the former rector of the University of Nis, Prof. Dr. Radoslav Bubanj, and the medal to the Mayor Dragana Sotirovski. In addition to numerous guests, the President of Palilula, Bratislav Vuckovic, also attended this ceremony.

    “Inheriting the anti-fascist legacy of the Second World War, today, in peace, in a large family of European countries, we are building a prosperous future for new generations,” said Minister Darija Kisic Tepavcevic, emphasizing that only a strong, stable, militarily neutral and economically developed Serbia in the region, the guarantor of a better life for all its citizens.
