    INFRASTRUCTURE WORKS FOR FACTORY “ZUMTOBEL” AND NEW INDUSTRIAL ZONE NEEDS

    In the area of Working zone “Viticulture Institute” in the Municipality of Palilula. there ar present construction works on sewerage and water supply infrastructure and connected roads. The value of the works is about 85 million dinars, out of which the funds that the City allocates is about 40 million dinars. 45 million dinars were allocated from the Republican budget for the construction of a collector that will discharge waste water.

    According to the Mayor of Nis, Darko Bulatovic, who also visited the location where Zumtobel factory is located, it is working on the construction of a water supply and sewage network and two access roads in the length of 300 m. “In the framework of the project and contracts that we have been taken as a city, apart from the construction of missing infrastructure, water supply and sewage networks, we will also remove Suvodolski stream, build a collector and access road, cottage, lighting,” the Mayor said.
    The dynamics of the works follow the agreed deadlines so the completion of works is expected by February 20.

    The first products from the Zumtobel factory should come out in May. This new industrial move in the Municipality of Palilula has about 18 hectares of area, of which 11 hectares are taken by Zumtobel, while the remaining area will be a potential location for future investors. By completing the works, a whole area will be provided which fully meets the existing infrastructure needs, as well as future companies that could invest here.
