Fifty-four primary and secondary schools in Nis received a valuable donation – LED lighting for a total of 800 school blackboards. It is a gift from the Serbian-Israeli Business Club, the Naissus Businessmen Club, and the Fluoelektro company. Donors say that in this way they want to improve working conditions in Niš schools and raise awareness of the importance of energy efficiency. The awarding of the LED lighting was organized in the Science and Technology Park in Niš, and this ceremony was attended by His Excellency, the Ambassador of Israel to Serbia, Yahel Vilan, and the Minister of Education of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Branko Ružić. Bratislav Vučković, the president of the Municipality, attended this event on behalf of Palilula Municipality.
The awarding of the contract was also attended by the principals of Nis schools who gladly accepted the donation. The Minister of Education emphasized that children must be given the best. The modern environment for learning is no longer a choice, but an obligation of all who work in education, to enable children and young people what students in modern countries on other meridians have.
The donor companies, who are also members of both Clubs, emphasized that they jointly strive for the development of the economy and the improvement of economic cooperation between Israel and Serbia, through the continuous creation of a favorable climate for economic growth and development.LED LIGHTING FOR 800 SCHOOL BOARDS IN NIŠ SCHOOLS
