Earth Day is traditionally celebrated on April 22. On that day, in 150 countries around the world, people are being educated on how endangered our planet is and what concrete actions can be taken to protect the environment in which we live. The theme of this year’s celebration is “Call for Climate Action”. The initiative to mark the Day of the Planet, which was established in 1970 in the United States of America, and has been celebrated worldwide since 1992, has become a global incentive for actions to solve today’s environmental problems.
