Gradska opstina Palilula

ERASMUS+ YOUTH ProActiv Spain organized from 5 to 10 June 2022 is another successful training in Madrid (Spain) on the topic “Employment of European youth through non-formal education: Erasmus+ mobilities for the activation of NEETs”. Seven delegations from different countries: Slovenia, North Macedonia, Georgia, Greece, Serbia, Croatia and Spain, were involved in the training and team multicultural workshops.

On behalf of Palilula Municipality, Niš and in cooperation with the Center for Intercultural Exchange – Interculturalis (Niš) https://ikunews.com/, which is also a formal participant in this large project and deals with intercultural education, implementation of European projects and youth volunteering, the three-member Serbian delegation included Ivana Jocić Veselić, employed at Palilula Municipality for the international cooperation, business etiquette and project work affairs.

The training was conducted with the aim of improving the quality of work with unemployed youth across Europe. When formal education no longer works in their case, youth work is a promising opportunity for them. Working with young people can include them into social and environmental and other initiatives that will make them useful. There are many opportunities for connecting at all levels, as well as working towards the common goal of employment and getting out of the vicious circle.
