Gradska opstina Palilula

According to the tradition, the President of the Municipality of Palilula, at the beginning of the new school year, organizes a meeting with the principals of primary schools that work on the territory of the municipality. On this occasion, on Tuesday, September 8, in the premises of the Municipality, the newly elected president Bratislav Vuckovic held a working meeting.

The principles of seven educational institutions were present: Elementary school “SRETEN MLADENOVIĆ MIKA”, Elementary school “KRALJ PETAR PRVI”, Elementary school “BRANKO MILJKOVIĆ”, Elementary school “KOLE RAŠIĆ”, Elementary school “BUBANJSKI HEROJI”, Elementary school DESANKA MAKSIMOVIĆ-Čokot, Elementary school “BRANKO” Gabrovac. The meeting was attended by the councilors of the educational institutions, the councilor of the City of Nis for education, Prof. Dr. Marija Randjelovic, the president of the Association “FROS” Nebojsa Saitovic and the president of the Assembly of Palilula Municipality, Nikola Bozic.

“Caring for children and young people, especially those who achieve the best results in school, is one of the most important tasks of Palilula Municipality,” said the President of the Municipality. “We promote and reward TALENTED pupils and students, within the Vidovdan ceremony, who achieve the best results and are educated in educational institutions on the territory of the municipality of Palilula.” The best pupils and students, for twelve years in a row, are also represented in the New Year’s calendar of the Municipality. We also encourage CREATIVE EXPRESSION of students. We supported a free school of acting and stage movement.

At the first meeting, the principals acquainted the president with the numerous possibilities of cooperation from the improvement of working conditions, project activities, and the organization of the Palilula Sports Olympics. A visit of two special schools, which operate on the territory of this municipality, SCHOOL FOR PRIMARY AND SECONDARY EDUCATION “Carica Jelena” and SPECIAL SCHOOL WITH STUDENT HOME “BUBANJ”, and handing over a donation in school supplies, a gift from the Association “FROS” will be done on Wednesday, September 9 .
