The President of Palilula Municipality, Bratislav Vucković, welcomed the Head of the Police Administration in Niš, Slaviša Virijević, in the premises of the Municipality, who wished the newly elected President successful work and continued cooperation.
In the protocol conversation, President Vuckovic emphasized the importance of this cooperation in order to increase the security of citizens and property in the municipality of Palilula – the territorial organization of the City of Nis, in which more than eighty thousand citizens live.
The Municipal president, together with Virijević, also visited the Police premises in Kosta Abraševića Street No. 1 (renovated premises of the former local community “Đuka Dinić”), which were opened at the beginning of this year. The space is still being equipped for new facilities for the functioning of the police station. According to Virijevic, the new space provided police officers with significantly better working conditions and successful cooperation with citizens. In the new police premises in the municipality of Palilula, there are general police officers, an operational group, and a duty service.
“By opening new police premises in the area of the City Municipality of Palilula, the Ministry of Internal Affairs once again showed its commitment in the implementation of the project” Police in the local community “, said the director of police Vladimir Rebić in Niš on January 30. The Police Administration of Nis, in cooperation with the City Municipality of Palilula, successfully cooperates in project activities such as the activity “Say NO to Domestic Violence” in the Municipality of Palilula, which was organized with the aim of empowering victims to recognize and report domestic violence.
