    HEALTH CENTER NIS DIRECTOR VISITED HEALTH INSTITUTIONS IN PALILULA MUNICIPALITY

    Director of the Health Center Nis, prof. Dr. Milorad Jerkan, together with associates, visited three health clinics in the territory of Municipality of Palilula on February 22, in Cokot village, the village, “9.Maj” Novo Selo and in the settlement “Milka Protić”. The reason for the visit is regular checking of the quality of professional work, satisfaction of patients and employees, as well as the examination of working conditions.

    In the Health Clinic “Cokot”, the work and needs of this village health clinic, as well as the health needs of the villagers of this village, who visited the health clinic were all discussed with the director, and taken into consideration. About 1,400 inhabitants gravitate to this health clinic (according to the 2011 Census). In the Health Clinic “Cokot”, work the doctor – a nurse from the Adult Health Service, twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and provides services for 800 regular signed users.

    Health Center “Novo Selo” in the settlement “9.maj” is one of the larger in the territory of Palilula, which is gravised by about 8,500 inhabitants (according to the 2011 Census). This health station is run by the Health Care Service of Adults, the Child Health and Childcare Service, the Dental Health Care Service, the Polyvalent Care Service and the Laboratory Diagnostic Service. Healthcare providers provide services and take care of the health of over 5,500 signed users. Patients who were present at the health center in a conversation with the director of the Health Center Nis expressed their satisfaction with the kindness and professional work of the medical staff of the Health Center Nis.

    The Health Clinic “Milka Protić” is located on the territory of Palilula which is gravitating around 792 inhabitants (according to the 2011 Census). This medical clinic is operated by a team of nurses from the Adult Health Service, twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and provides services for 220 signed users. Employees in this health clinic as well as the patients who were present at the moment of visit, expressed their satisfaction with their work, but also made suggestions for improving the quality of work.
