Gradska opstina Palilula

Members of the Women’s Council Network of the Palilula Municipality, the City of Nis and other city municipalities in Nis, attended the meeting of the Women’s Parliamentary Network of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia on June 21st. The meeting was chaired by Marija Obradović, the deputy chairperson of the Parliamentary Committee on Defense and Security, and Aleksandra Tomić, Chairperson of the Budget Committee. The theme of this meeting was “greater participation of women in executive and legislative power at the local level, gender budgeting, mutual association and the joint operation of women. The women councillors from Nis, before the meeting, visited the National Assembly building. The host of the visit was a deputy from Nis, Jelena Zarić Kovacevic.
