Gradska opstina Palilula

Due to heavy rains, the retaining wall in Svetolika Rankovića Street in Palilula collapsed on the night between January 11 and 12. The wall that divides the houses with numbers 4 and 6 fell on the auxiliary facilities of the family that lives in house number 4. The competent services visited the location to determine the circumstances.

The families of the victims were visited by the president of the Municipality of Palilula, Bratislav Vuckovic, together with his associates. According to the locals, the wall was built in 1974. Above the house with number 4, in the immediate vicinity of the wall, a two-storey house was built.

The president of the Municipality of Palilula, together with the competent services of the city, visited the residents of the village of Lalinac, as well as the workers of JKP Mediana, who were cleaning the streets in the field from torrents.
