In the world, March 8th is celebrated as International Women’s Day in the light of the fight for equality in all areas of life. Without raising awareness about the role of women and their equality in society, it is difficult to imagine progress in this field of human rights protection. Serbia is one of the few countries in the region that has successfully implemented the concept of gender-responsive budgeting. Palilula Municipality, is applying high quality standards in the work of the Administration and all organs,it is active in the process of empowering women. By your work, dedication, and the results you achieve, you can assure women that they can perform even the most complex tasks, as well as men, and be responsible and successful.

Congratulating you on the International Women’s Day, I wish you good health first, to be creative, beautiful and brave. Without you there can not even be a successful Serbia as a strong “family tree”.
