In anticipation of the world premiere of the documentary film “The Death Camp in Karašjok”, which was realized by PQX Media and friends, as part of the project “Eighty years since the suffering of Serbian inmates during the Second World War in the camps in Norway”, President Bratislav Vučković with associates, Prof. Dr. Miško Živić (member of the Municipal council), organized a reception in the City Municipality of Palilula Niš, on the territory of which the memorial complex “Bubanj” is located.
The reception was attended by the film’s protagonists, descendants of Serbian internees. Milorad Ćebić, 93, traveled from Belgrade to the premiere of the film, Jelena Paunović (70), whose uncle was killed by the fascists in Karasjok, and Miodrag Jocić (87), whose uncle Krsta Jocić was killed in Norway, lives in Nis.
With the protagonists of the film “Death Camp in Karašjok”, the guests of Palilula Municipality were film producer Branko Dimeski, cinematographer Terje Holm, and Đorđe Bojanić, historian.
