The Youth Office of the Palilula Municipality of Nis had an active participation at the Youth Summit which was held on November 20 in Belgrade (hotel Metropol) organized by KZM of the City of Belgrade under the auspices and support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. This event was opened by the President of the Belgrade City Assembly Nikola Nikodijevic.
“A modern, economically developed and strong Serbia can be built with the support of young and educated people, a message from the second Belgrade Youth Summit. Thanks to this summit, 2,000 people went through, and through the forums it was pointed out what the needs of the labor market were and how the University could help.The second Summit of Youth was attended by representatives of all youth offices in Serbia, as well as representatives of universities and business people.
During the summit, workshops on education, entrepreneurship, and new technologies were organized. Key topics of youth discussion were: Smart Cities; New Opportunities for Employment; Youth activism; Entrepreneurial tourism; Fight against drug addiction; Life and career after returning to Serbia after studying abroad. Filip Cvetkovic, as a representative of the Youth Office of the Palilula Municipality in Nis, made numerous contacts and meetings with delegations of youth from other communities at this summit.
