Within the CAMPAIGN of voluntary blood donation – “Your five minutes, somebody’s whole life”, Palilula Municipality hosted this humane action on September 21st. The employees of the Administration of the Municipality of Palilula, as well as the citizens, supported the campaign of the Institute for Blood Transfusion and offered precious liquid in the premises of the Nis Cultural Center. The action took place from 13 – 15 hours. “Cooperation with the Blood Transfusion Institute in Nis is very good, said the President of the Municipality of Palilula Aleksandar Ždrale. We made a call to volunteer blood donors to respond and participate in this activity. Not only I, but a large number of our councilors and employees in the Municipality of Palilula responded to the invitation that I am particularly happy about. With this action, we want to show by personal example how it can help citizens to preserve their health and save the lives of the people, “said the President of Palilula. Although the blood supply is never too much, the response to voluntary actions for the doctors of the Transfusion Institute is good news.

The Blood Transfusion Institute in Niš receives voluntary donors from 18 to 65 years of age, every working day from 08 to 19 hours, and Saturdays from 08 to 14 hours.
