At the ceremony at the Serbian Army House in Nis (October 12, 2018), organized to promote military service, military service soldiers from the territory of the City of Nis, who voluntarily served military service with weapons, in the 2011-2012 period were awarded Badges and Letters of Gratittude. In addition to soldiers and members of their families, this ceremony was attended by Mayor of Nis, Darko Bulatović, representatives of City Municipalities in Niš, Niš Eparchy, Ministry of Defense and the Army of Serbia. Badges for volunteer soldiers serving with arms and arms of the fatherland were handed over: On behalf of the Ministry of Defense and the Army of Serbia, Lieutenant Colonel Sasa Cvetanovic and representatives of City Municipalities in Nis were present. On behalf of Palilula Municipality, from which territory seventeen young men and women volunteered military service with weapons, the generations of military soldiers 2011-2012 was greeted by the Head of Municipal Administration Marija Brajdić. A badge for a soldier on voluntary military service and Letter of Gratitude are military awards granted to soldiers who volunteered to serve as military term after the suspension of the obligation for serving the military service in 2011 for contributing to the protection and strengthening of the defense system of the Republic of Serbia.
