Mayor of Palilula, Aleksandar Zdrale, presented the acknowledgments (September 26, 2019) of Palilula Municipality to the students of “SVETOZAR MARKOVIC” High School with winners of medals at international competitions and their mentors who led them to this end: Dr. Marjan Misic, Principal of “Svetozar Markovic High School” “, Assistant Professor Dragoljub Dimitrijevic and Prof. Jelena Djordjevic.
Palilula Municipality Awards, wristwatches, were awarded to female students: 1.Maja Cvetković (last year’s graduate), – bronze medal at the EGMO International Competition – European girls’ mathematical olympiad; 2.Luki Carevic, a 2nd-grade student at the Department of Talented Mathematicians – Bronze medal at the 15th Junior Science Olympiad; 3. Aleksa Djordjevic, a 2nd-grade student at the Department of Talented Mathematicians, – bronze medal at the 15th Junior Science Olympiad; 4. Momcilo Tosic, a third-grade student at the Department of Talented Mathematicians, – Gold Medal at the Balkan Physics Olympiad, – 3rd place at the St. Petersburg International Astronomy Olympiad, – Bronze Medal at the 13th International Olympiad in Astronomy and Astrophysics; 5. Jovan Arizanović, a third-grade student of the Department of Talented Mathematicians, – Bronze medal at the Balkan Physical Olympiad, – 3rd place at the St. Petersburg International Astronomy Olympiad; 6. Viktor Mičić, a third-grade student of the Department of Talented Mathematicians, – Bronze medal at the Balkan Physical Olympiad; 7. Igor Eskic (last year’s graduate) – bronze medal at the World Geographic Olympiad, 8-10. Dusan Igic, Vojin Ivkovic and Aleksandra Petkovic (bronze medal at the International Young Physicists Tournament).
