The Day of Serbian Unity, Freedom and the National Flag – September 15 was also celebrated in Palilula Municipality,
in the “Bubanj” Memorial Park.

The students and teachers of the “Bubanjski heroji” primary school with the principal Verica Radenković, the leadership and members of the Palilula municipality administration, led by the president Bratislav Vučković and members of the Municipal council, gathered at the ambient teaching class, where Serbian flags were proudly flying.

The Day of Serbian Unity, Freedom and National Flag is a national holiday celebrated on September 15 in the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Srpska. The holiday was symbolically established to be celebrated on the day when the Breakthrough of the Thessaloniki Front is commemorated, and it has been celebrated since 2020, (Photographs by Dragan Vidojković)
