Gradska opstina Palilula

A delegation of the International Association for Regional Cooperation-MARS in Russia, led by the leaders of this organization J.Topalov and V.Tulagin, visited Palilula Municipality in Niš. This is the first contact and initiation of cooperation that should contribute to the integration and twinning of Serbian and Russian municipalities.

The President of Palilula, Aleksandar Zdrale, introduced the guests from Russia to the Municipality’s Development Strategy and potentials in the field of tourism, economy and culture. Interstate cooperation established at the level of the governments of the two countries is achieved through integration at the local level. The Mars Association is in charge of establishing cooperation with the region of southern Serbia and the city of Niš as a regional center.
