The Cemetery at Delijski Vis in the Municipality of Palilula consists of a Serbian military cemetery, an English military cemetery and the part where the soldiers of the Austro-Hungarian Empire were buried. This complex has been under protection from 1989. This space was fenced and green area decorated. At the entrance was a table with information about the Military cemetery. Unfortunately, the disrespectful citizens, in the period of marking of the “Armstice Day”, damaged the text from the board. The project of arrangement of this area is envisaged to convert the chestnut into a memorial complex, is is said in the Society for the Conservation of Traditional Traditions.

In the year 2016, the Municipality of Palilula provided landscaping of this abandoned area, which borders with the “Army Cemetery” complex. After the construction of the geodetic substrate and the architectural solution, the green space was reconstructed, the pedestrian paths were laid, the branches were fixed with benches, the plants were removed. After several decades, the space was finally arranged and is suitable for walking, but also for the playing of our youngest inhabitants. The military cemetery, which borders with this green area, is often visited by delegations from the country and abroad, so it is unacceptable that this park is disordered, says Aleksandar Ždrale, President of the Municipality of Palilula.
