Commander of the Land Army, Lieutenant General Milosav Simovic, organized a reception for the representatives of the Nisava Administrative District, the City of Nis and city municipalities, cultural institutions, organizations and individuals who took part in the collection of materials – photographs, documents and objects. “For the cooperation with the Command of the Land Army and the Land Army, the development and cultivation of the patriotism, patriotism, the spirit of liberty of the Serbian people and the traditions of the glorious Serbian Army, support and assistance in the formation and construction of the Land Mine Museum” this award was awarded to the City Municipality of Palilula and the President Municipality of Aleksandar Ždrale. The commemorative room of the Land Army Command in Nis, which was opened on February 27, 2018, consists of 29 titles and units, including 16,000 names of victims from the Serbian-Turkish wars, to NATO aggression and those killed in the Land Security Zone. More than 11,000 photos, 47 uniforms from different periods, as well as more than 300 pieces of weapons and equipment were exhibited in the Memorial Room.
