When neighbors have good relations and beside that have the support and understanding of the Municipality of Palilula, the competent authorities of the City administration and the Directorate, finally the long-standing problem of arranging Popovačka Street in the settlement “9 Maj” got its epilogue.

Workers of the MD of the universal team with the construction manager Djordjevic, with the help of powerful mechanization, cleared the surface of the street at the beginning of August, and the next day they made sandworks and asphalt pavement. Members of the Barac family, who were with their neighbors persistent in resolving this infrastructure problem, thanked for support and understanding.

With this intervention we significantly improve the quality of life of the inhabitants in this part of the settlement “9 Maj”, says Municipal President Aleksandar Ždrale, which is one of the tasks of our city municipality. Due to unresolved property-legal relations, it was impossible to permanently reconstruct the street, but this intervention was long awaited.
