The drainage channel for atmospheric water, under the overpass, at the entrance to the settlement “9.Maj” (Novo Selo), is finally cleaned. At the initiative of the City Municipality of Palilula Municipality and the Citizens’ Council and the understanding of the City leadership, the workers of JKP Naisus and JKP Mediana removed waste and wrecks from this area.

The maintenance of space around the railway is under the jurisdiction of the Serbia Railways, and for this reason, the local utility companies did not react. However, after extensive rainfall, the traffic under the overpass is covered by a water surface. Then the pedestrians are not able to enter the settlement and the traffic with transport vehicles is slowed down. We had to react, says Aleksandar Ždrale, President of Palilula Municipality. The matter is about our citizens and their safety.

The President of the Municipality with associates have pointed out the problem several times this year. To the satisfaction of the inhabitants of this settlement of Palilula Municipality, the issue of security has nevertheless been given priority over jurisdictions.
