In anticipation of World Cleaning Day, which is celebrated on Saturday, September 18, 2021, the President of Palilula Municipality, Bratislav Vuckovic, sent a message with the following content:

“Once, as a law student, I had the dilemma of distinguishing economic policy from political economy, which were compulsory subjects in the first and second year of study. My dilemma at the time was whether it was primary economic policy or political economy. The experiences of economically strong states, as well as the time behind us, have shown that the primacy of economic policy over the political economy is certainly the direction of the development of economically strong states. Our Serbia is finally on that direction! Today, after several decades of graduation and acquired academic education, I am again in the dilemma of distinguishing “political ecology” from “environmental politics”. As a man who has been professionally committed to organizing public hygiene, managing and disposing of waste, and protecting and improving the environment for almost two decades, I am confused by the onslaught of a large number of environmental associations led by fairly confident flag bearers and environmentalists. What amazes me even more and worries me a little is the fact of overproduction of these ecological staff. That is why I am afraid that in this very important, if not the most important area of ​​life, “political ecologists” will prevail and take over the primacy and forever extinguish the idea of ​​RESPONSIBLE ECOLOGICAL POLICY!
That is why one big NO to street “eco-politicians” but also to world “eco-terrorists”

Because of the world, because of Europe, because of Serbia, because of ours and their children! ”
