Gradska opstina Palilula

The solemn academy in St Sava Hall, in the presence of great number of guests and guests from abroad, His Eminence the Bishop of Nis G. G. Arsenije, President of the Assembly of the City of Nis, Dr. Boban Džunić, Mayor of Niš Dragana Sotirovski, the Saint Day of the City of Niš, Holy Emperor Constantine and Empress Helena, was celebrated. The President of Palilula Municipality, Bratislav Vuckovic, also attended this gathering.

“Celebrations of Saints are not just a ceremony, they have their ambiguity, they are an occasion for gathering and conciliarity, an opportunity for meetings and flipping through the past,” generations win with knowledge, work, solidarity, preservation and renewal of the demographic picture of Serbia and Nis. Today, Nis is a modern city and a city with the perspective to become a place where people gladly come and that we should use our advantages, together with our fellow citizens, in the best possible way, said the Mayor of Nis Dragana Sotirovski, greeting the present guests and participants of the Academy.
