Gradska opstina Palilula

On the occasion of the International Volunteer Day, Media and Reform Center Nis, within the City Forum – Climate 2020, organized an online conversation on December 4 on the topic of VOLUNTEERS AND THEIR ROLE IN RESPONSE TO CLIMATE CHANGE.

Among the panelists of this City Forum was the President of the City Municipality of Palilula Nis, Bratislav Vuckovic.

The moderator of the conversation was Milena Krstić and the other participants were Bojan Mitić from PE “Srbijašume” SHG Niš; Olivera Milošević, CSO Zeleni Ključ; Nenad Stojanović, CSO Proaktiv and Nebojša Rančić, CSO Media and Reform Center Niš. In a very meaningful discussion, we were able to find out what specific steps local institutions and civil society organizations are taking or plan to take in order to adapt well to changing climatic conditions and how they see the importance of volunteers in achieving this goal.
