Gradska opstina Palilula

The Festival “Film Encounters ” festival, dedicated to actors, will be held for the 55th time in Nis, from Saturday, October 10 to Friday, October 15. We will see all screenings of 10 feature films, in the extraordinary circumstances caused by the covid19 pandemic, in the Cineplex cinema in Nis. With the reception of actors and organizers of the Film Encounters in the City Hall, the Mayor of Nis, Dragana Sotirovski, opened the ceremony in honor of the film actor. Among the guests was the president of Palilula Municipality Bratislav Vuckovic.

With the opening of the exhibition in the City Hall, a tribute was paid to the recently deceased director Goran Paskaljević. The program then continued at the Cineplexx cinema. Members of the Festival jury, actors, producers, journalists paraded on the red carpet, and Mayor Dragana Sotirovski traditionally handed over the “key to the city” to the president of the jury, Tijana Pečenčić. On the first evening, two films were shown, “In the Name of the People” and “Son”.
