Gradska opstina Palilula

The traditional action of the scouts “Violet, your face is beautiful”, intended for the youngest members of the scouts organization, was held on Saturday, April 6 at Memorial Park “Bubanj”. Organized as a scout greetings of spring, this action this year, for the eighth time, gathered boys and girls aged 7 to 11 from Nis and other cities. This year’s action was opened by Aleksandar Ždrale, President of the City Municipality of Palilula, and the ceremony was attended by Dušan Pujović from the Youth Office.

Children, participants of the competition and organizers of the action from the scout squad “Kralj Petar Prvi” were welcomed by a beautiful sunny day. The weather was ideal for competition in the field of skills, knowledge of road signs, knowledge quiz, disciplines: “squeeze the hand”, “be precise,” “remember and return”, “angry violet”, and other scouting disciplines adapted to the age of children. Thanks to the support of the members of the Nis Firing Brigade and the volunteer of firefighting company, children met the basic requirements for the conquest of Vatrogasac skill. After the competition finish there were also awards, and the children had the opportunity to stick with the members of the equestrian club “Nonius”.
